Thesis Journal

I found Caspar David Friedrich's paintings very relative to the kind of paintings I make because they are very moody, yet realistic. He focuses a lot on the concept like I do, but still creates a good realistic composition. The concept of death can be found in several of his paintings, similar to some paintings I'm currently working on. His color palette mostly consists of dark dull colors, which only help to achieve what he aims for in his paintings.
